After installing MIXTILE Flasher (see Installing Mixtile Add-ons for Home Assistant<\/a>), you can follow this guide to flash the Zigbee & Thread firmware to support both Zigbee and Thread.<\/p>\n

Disabling Zigbee Home Automation<\/h2>\n

Before starting the flasher, disable Zigbee Home Automation first (if you haven’t installed Zigbee Home Automation<\/strong>, skip this step):<\/p>\n

    \u30af\u30ea\u30c3\u30af \u8a2d\u5b9a<\/strong> in the side navigation bar, and then click Devices & services<\/strong> > Zigbee Home Automation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    \u30af\u30ea\u30c3\u30af \u2507 > Disable<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

    Starting Mixtile Flasher<\/h2>\n

    Now use Mixtile Flasher to flash the Zigbee & Thread firmware:<\/p>\n

      \u30af\u30ea\u30c3\u30af \u8a2d\u5b9a<\/strong> in the side navigation bar, click Add-ons > MIXTILE Flasher<\/strong>, and choose the Configuration<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      \u9078\u629e \/dev\/ttyCH343USB1<\/code> in the Device<\/strong> field, set Firmware URL<\/strong> \u3078\u306e https:\/\/github.com\/focalcrest\/Mixtile-EDGE2-Firmware\/raw\/main\/Zigbee&Thread\/Zigbee&Thread_v1.0.0.gbl<\/code>, and click Save<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

      \u3092\u9078\u629e\u3059\u308b\u3002 Info<\/strong> tab and click START<\/strong> to start flashing the firmware:<\/p>\n

      \u3092\u9078\u629e\u3059\u308b\u3002 Log<\/strong> tab to monitor the flashing process. You can scroll down to click the REFRESH<\/strong> button to update the logs. When Update Success<\/code> is displayed, the flashing process is complete.<\/p>\n

      Go back to the Info<\/strong> tab and click STOP<\/strong> to stop MIXTILE Flasher:<\/p>\n

      Utilizing Silicon Labs Multiprotocol<\/h2>\n

      Home Assistant uses Silicon Labs Multiprotocol<\/a> to allow the device’s Silicon Labs chip to connect to both Zigbee and Thread networks with one radio. Configure it as follows:<\/p>\n

      1. \n

        \u30af\u30ea\u30c3\u30af Settings > Add-ons > ADD-ON STORE<\/strong>, type "multiprotocol" in the text box, click Silicon Labs Multiprotocol<\/strong>, and click INSTALL<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

        On the Silicon Labs Multiprotocol<\/strong> page, choose the Configuration<\/strong> tab:<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      3. \n

        Set Device<\/strong> \u3078\u306e \/dev\/ttyCH343USB1<\/code>, disable both Hardware flow control<\/strong> \u305d\u3057\u3066 Automatically flash firmware<\/strong>, and click Save<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

        Go back to the Info<\/strong> tab and click START<\/strong> to start running Silicon Labs Multiprotocol:<\/p>\n

        Stay on this page until it’s successfully started as shown in the image below:<\/p>\n

      5. \n

        When the add-on is started, click Settings> Devices & services > Thread<\/strong>, and click \u8a2d\u5b9a<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

        Make Silicon Labs Multiprotocol<\/code> the preferred network:<\/p>\n

        Adding Zigbee Home Automation back<\/h2>\n

        1. \n

          \u30af\u30ea\u30c3\u30af Settings > Devices & services<\/strong> and then click the SHOW<\/strong> button in the upper-right corner:<\/p>\n

          Find Zigbee Home Automation<\/strong> again and click \u2507 > Delete<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

          \u30af\u30ea\u30c3\u30af ADD INTEGRATION<\/strong> and type "Zigbee" to find Zigbee Home Automation<\/code> again. You should see that Serial Device Path<\/code> can now be set to socket:\/\/core-silabs-multiprotocol:9999 - Multiprotocol add-on - Nabu Casa<\/code> as shown below. Click \u6295\u7a3f\u3059\u308b<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

          \u30af\u30ea\u30c3\u30af \u6295\u7a3f\u3059\u308b<\/strong> on the radio type page:<\/p>\n

          \u30af\u30ea\u30c3\u30af \u6295\u7a3f\u3059\u308b<\/strong> on the serial port settings page:<\/p>\n

          Set the network formation as needed:<\/p>\n

          Zigbee has now been added back to Home Assistant. You can select an area for it:<\/p>\n
