Mixtile 2-in-1 Zigbee & Z-Wave mPCIe Interface Module<\/a> is designed for Home Assistant users and developers. After installing Home Assistant (see Using Home Assistant in Mixtile Edge 2 Kit<\/a>), you can follow this tutorial to install and configure the module in Home Assistant.<\/p>\n

Installing the module on Mixtile Edge 2 Kit<\/h2>\n

Before you start, install the module to the mini-PCIe interface of Mixtile Edge 2 Kit as follows:<\/p>\n

Important: Make sure you follow this image to connect the Zigbee and Z-Wave antennas to the right ports.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Setting up Zigbee<\/h2>\n

    In the Home Assistant dashboard (http:\/\/homeassistant.local:8123<\/code> \u307e\u305f\u306f http:\/\/[your_IP_address]:8123<\/code>), click \u8a2d\u5b9a<\/strong> in the side navigation bar and then click Devices & services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    \u30af\u30ea\u30c3\u30af ADD INTEGRATION<\/strong> at the bottom-right corner.<\/p>\n

    Type "Zigbee" in the text box and then select Zigbee Home Automation<\/code>.<\/p>\n

    \u9078\u629e EZSP = Silicon Labs EmberZNet Protocol: Elelabs, HUSBZB-1, Telegesis<\/code> as the Zigbee radio type and then click \u6295\u7a3f\u3059\u308b<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    On the Serial Port Settings<\/strong> page, set Serial device path<\/strong> \u3078\u306e \/dev\/ttyCH343USB1<\/code> and keep the rest unchanged, and click \u6295\u7a3f\u3059\u308b<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    On the Network Formation<\/strong> page, select Create a network<\/code>.<\/p>\n

    You should see that Zigbee has been successfully set up in Home Assistant. You can select an area for it now.<\/p>\n

    Setting up Z-Wave<\/h2>\n

      In the Home Assistant dashboard, click \u8a2d\u5b9a<\/strong> in the side navigation bar and then click Devices & services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      On the Select connection method<\/strong> page, check the Use the Z-Wave JS Supervisor add-on<\/code> box and then click \u6295\u7a3f\u3059\u308b<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Close the Enter the Z-Wave JS add-on configuration<\/strong> page that is shown.<\/p>\n

      \u30af\u30ea\u30c3\u30af \u8a2d\u5b9a<\/strong> in the side navigation bar again, click Add-ons<\/strong> and then choose Z-Wave JS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Click the Configuration<\/strong> tab, select \/dev\/ttyCH343USB0<\/code> in the Device<\/strong> field, and then scroll down and click Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Click the Info<\/strong> tab and click START<\/strong> to start Z-Wave JS.<\/p>\n

      Repeat steps 1-4. You should see that Z-Wave has been successfully set up in Home Assistant. You can select an area for it now.<\/p>\n
